CRAFTSWOMEN IN TURKMENISTAN’S WESTERN REGION WEAVE A GIANT CARPET
Craftswomen of the Kyzyl-Arvat Artistic Carpet Weaving Enterprise are working on a giant carpet to mark Turkmenistan’s Independence Day. According to Turkmenistan: Golden Age, the giant carpet will measure 23 metres in width and 12 metres in length. Its total area will be 276 square metres.
