The Executive Boards of UNDP, UNFPA, and UNICEF have approved new country programs for Turkmenistan for the period 2026–2030.

The program concepts were developed in close cooperation with Turkmen officials, according to Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which announced the approval on Saturday.

The documents outline the implementation of projects and initiatives across key areas of cooperation with UN agencies operating in Turkmenistan over the next five years.

The country programs of UNDP, UNFPA, and UNICEF are strategic frameworks developed by the respective UN agencies for specific countries. They define goals, priority areas, and mechanisms for collaboration with government institutions and other partners for a defined period.
