Turkmenistan sent humanitarian aid to earthquake-stricken people in Afghanistan

Following the instructions of the National Leader of the Turkmen People, given at a regular meeting of the Board of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, humanitarian aid has been sent from Turkmenistan to earthquake-stricken Afghanistan.

This is yet another example of how the good principles that the Turkmen people have created throughout their history and which serve as a model for the entire world are evolving in the spirit of the modern era.

In accordance with the decision, the ceremony to send medicines, medical supplies, textiles, and food products to Afghanistan was organized based on the noble traditions established by the Turkmen people throughout their history.

Representatives of public organizations of Turkmenistan, the Chargé d'Affaires of Afghanistan in Turkmenistan, honorary elders, and representatives of ministries and departments took part in the humanitarian action.

The prompt adoption of urgent measures to support the victims is proof of Turkmenistan's commitment to strengthening global peace and stability and the triumph of humanitarian ideals.
