ON THE OCCASION OF THE DAY OF THE STATE FLAG AND THE 35TH ANNIVERSARY OF UKRAINE’S INDEPENDENCE

These days, Ukraine is marking important national dates — the Day of the State Flag and the 35th Anniversary of Independence.

The State Flag is one of the most important symbols of an independent state, embodying its historical memory, national dignity, and the people’s aspiration for freedom and a peaceful future.

Thirty-five years of independence represent a significant historical journey filled with important events, transformations, and achievements. During this period, Ukraine has gone through a multifaceted stage in the development of its own statehood, strengthening international ties, advancing its economy, science, culture, and education, building modern state institutions, and consolidating its international standing.

Turkmenistan and Ukraine are bound by long-standing friendly relations. Over the years, the two countries have maintained a constructive political dialogue and developed cooperation in various fields.

Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the further strengthening of traditionally good and mutually beneficial relations with Ukraine and supports the continuation of constructive interstate dialogue, the expansion of mutual contacts, and the implementation of new promising projects.

On the occasion of these important national holidays, the Embassy of Turkmenistan congratulates Ukraine and its friendly people and wishes them peace, well-being, stability, and further success on the path of development and progress.
