GURBANGULY BERDIMUHAMEDOV VISITED KAZAKHSTAN, KYRGYZSTAN AND UZBEKISTAN

On April 21, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov discussed cooperation in the trade, economic, energy, transport and cultural-humanitarian spheres with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during his visit to Kazakhstan.

The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty noted the need to give instructions to the joint Working Group to coordinate activities within the framework of the project for the development of the next phase of the Galkynysh gas field and the supply of Turkmen natural gas to Kazakhstan.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also expressed gratitude to Kazakhstan for its support and co-authorship of the UN General Assembly resolution "Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan", adopted at the initiative of Turkmenistan on March 21, 2025.

Then, as part of a working visit to Kyrgyzstan, in the city of Cholpon-Ata, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held talks with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov on Wednesday, April 23.

The parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, including trade and economic cooperation, cultural and humanitarian ties and regional initiatives.

Sadyr Japarov noted the confident positive dynamics in trade cooperation between the two countries, as well as the importance of implementing the project to create a joint Kyrgyz-Turkmen Development Fund.
