NEGOTIATIONS TOOK PLACE BETWEEN THE PRESIDENTS OF TURKMENISTAN AND MONGOLIA

On June 2, 2025, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held talks with President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh as part of a state visit to Mongolia.

Taking the opportunity, Serdar Berdimuhamedov conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to his Mongolian counterpart from the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The Turkmen leader confirmed that Turkmenistan aims to develop and expand cooperation with Mongolia in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

As part of a state visit A signing ceremony of 14 bilateral documents aimed at the comprehensive development of Turkmen-Mongolian cooperation took place.

The parties declared their intention to strengthen partnership in the political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian and scientific spheres.

One of the key results was the signing of a Joint Statement on the development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Mongolia, as well as an agreement on the establishment of an intergovernmental commission on bilateral cooperation.
