The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Ukraine discussed bilateral cooperation with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine

On November 20, 2025, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Ukraine, Mr. Toyly Atayev, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Mr. Oleksandr Mishchenko.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the bilateral agenda and steps to further develop bilateral cooperation mechanisms.

Particular attention was paid to strengthening diplomatic and foreign policy cooperation, interaction within international organizations, and support for international initiatives. In the context of the conversation, the Deputy Minister noted Ukraine's historical support for Turkmenistan's status of permanent neutrality, acquired in 1995 and repeatedly reaffirmed by relevant UN resolutions.

The interlocutors expressed a mutual opinion on the need to expand economic partnership and cooperation in other key sectors.
