As part of the presentation, an exhibition was organized in the foyer of the institute, featuring works of applied arts that reflect the peace-loving nature and benevolence of the Turkmen people, as well as the significance of the country’s permanent neutrality. As is known, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan held on December 6, 2025, the Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov announced the completion of his book “The Neutrality of Turkmenistan — A Bright way of Peace and Trust,” dedicated to the outcomes of the International Year of Peace and Trust. The book provides a detailed account of the importance of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, which has been recognized three times by the UN General Assembly, and highlights the historical initiatives of our country aimed at strengthening global peace and confidence. It also summarizes Turkmenistan’s achievements and successes.

The presentation began with a literary and musical performance titled “Neutrality — Our Eternal Happiness” by students of the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan. This was followed by a welcoming address by the rector of the Institute, Gulshat Yusupova, who noted that the new book by the Honorable President thoroughly reveals the value of permanent neutrality and will serve as a scientific and literary guide for young people, including future specialists in international relations.
