An exhibition of children's drawings based on Turkmen folk tales is taking place in the Library named Magtymguly in Kyiv

An art exhibition of creative works by the creative association "Art historians" of the Svyatoshinsky District Out-of-School Work Center called "Silver Skullcap" based on Turkmen folk tales has opened in the Library named Magtymguly of the Svichado Centralized Library System in Kyiv.
The cultural and artistic event is timed to coincide with the Turkmen Carpet Festival. Children aged 7 to 15 illustrated the amazing world of Turkmen fairy tales and their characters, and conveyed the beauty of the landscapes of the generous Turkmen land.
The presented drawings are sincere, bright and very meaningful, like the works themselves. Turkmen folk tales, as an example of the folklore genre, reflect the life values and wisdom of the Turkmen people, carry an important educational mission. Their heroes personify kindness, honesty, generosity, courage, willingness to come to the aid of others.
The collection of Turkmen folk tales "Silver Skullcap" in Ukrainian is a favorite children's book of young readers of the Magtymguly Library.
In their works, children very subtly and originally illustrated selected fairy-tale characters and their adventures, talentedly depicted Turkmen landscapes.
In total, the exhibition presents 20 works by young artists. The final of the exhibition will take place on the day of the Turkmen Carpet Festival.
The Magtymguly Library, which is located at st. Zodchyh, 6 in Kyiv, invites everyone to visit the exhibition from June 19 to 26, 2025.
