A Meeting with the Leadership of Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University and the Research Institute of Socio-Economic Development of the City Held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine

On 3 July 2026, a meeting was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Ukraine, Toyly Atayev, and the Rector of Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University, Oleksii Tselishchev, the University’s Vice-Rector, Ruslan Halhash, as well as the Director of the Municipal Research Institution “Research Institute of Socio-Economic Development of the City” and Head of the Department of Healthcare of the Faculty of Human Health of Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University, Serhii Pavlovskyi.

During the meeting, the University leadership presented the main areas of activity of the educational institution, spoke about its current stage of development and educational potential. Special attention was paid to the University’s international activities, opportunities for foreign students to study there, the implementation of international educational and scientific programmes, as well as the holding of international scientific and practical conferences, in which representatives of the scientific and educational circles of Turkmenistan were invited to participate.

The parties discussed prospects for developing cooperation between higher educational and scientific institutions of Turkmenistan and Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University, including possible joint educational, research and academic projects.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their interest in further developing partnership ties, expanding scientific and educational cooperation, and continuing dialogue on the issues addressed during the meeting.
