TURKMENISTAN, U.S. DISCUSS ECONOMIC COOPERATION

Minister of Defense of Turkmenistan Begench Gundogdyev met Thursday in Ashgabat with U.S. Secretary of the Army Daniel Driscoll and U.S. Special Representative for South and Central Asia Sergio Gor.

The two sides exchanged views on key regional security issues.

The American side reaffirmed the United States’ commitment to promoting peace and sustainable stability in the region.

On the same day, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with U.S. Special Representative for South and Central Asia Sergio Gor.
