INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION-FAIR DEDICATED TO AKHAL-TEKE HORSE BREEDING HELD IN NETHERLANDS

An exhibition-fair dedicated to Turkmen equestrian art, traditional culture and folklore, as well as the history of the development of the equestrian industry in Europe, was held in Kronenberg, Netherlands, as part of the world championship in equestrian sports and the Akhal-Teke horse beauty competition. The exhibition, which opened Sept. 4, was held at the Maya Delorez arena of the Pilbergen equestrian complex.

The exhibition gave guests an opportunity to learn more about the equestrian world. Equestrian clothing, saddles and other equipment, images of galloping horses, paintings and carpets were also displayed.

Turkmen organizations also opened their pavilions at the fair. They included the Turkmen Atlary State Association, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, the Turkmenhaly State Association and other organizations.

After the open conference of the International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding held Sept. 5, Marian Weltvrede, president of the European Akhal-Teke Horse Association, invited participants and guests to visit the exhibition-fair and thanked them for attending the event. Among other guests, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, also visited the exhibition.
