THE “WHITE CITY ASHGABAT 2026” FORUM TO BRING TOGETHER DELEGATES FROM 55 COUNTRIES
The international forum “White City Ashgabat 2026” (WCA 2026) will take place in Ashgabat on May 24–25. As part of the event, a high-level UN Round Table dedicated to sustainable, inclusive, and smart cities will be held. More than 650 delegates from 55 countries are expected to participate, including representatives of international organizations, investors, architects, engineers, and urban development experts.
The forum is aimed at a wide range of professionals involved in urban planning and sustainable urbanization. The program will include thematic sessions focused on smart city technologies, modern infrastructure, and inclusive urban planning. Detailed information about the business program, exhibition participation opportunities, and sponsorship packages is available on the event’s official website: ashgabat-white-city.com.
Particular attention should be paid to a statement made at the World Urban Forum in Baku. Erfan Ali, Regional Director of UN-Habitat for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, announced the possibility of opening a project office of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme in Ashgabat. According to him, the Turkmen capital is becoming increasingly engaged in the international dialogue on sustainable urban development issues.
