STUDENT FROM TURKMENISTAN WINS UKRAINIAN COMBAT JIU-JITSU CUP

A student of the Central Ukrainian National Technical University, a citizen of Turkmenistan Rustam Rahmankulov won a gold medal for 1st place at the Ukrainian Combat Jiu-Jitsu Cup, which was held on September 27-29 in the Carpathians,  in western Ukraine.

R.Rahmankulov won in the close-contact category in the 63 kg weight class, demonstrated a brilliant wrestling technique and worthily represented his native country at the championship.

This championship was the next stage of selection for the World Championship, which will be held on November 29-December 2, 2024 in Poland.

In November 2023, R. Rahmankulov also became the winner of the World Combat Jiu-Jitsu Championship in the full-contact category, which was held in Daugavpils, Latvia.
