TURKMEN WEIGHTLIFTER SHABNAM KERIMBAYEVA SET TWO YOUTH WORLD RECORDS AT THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN CHINA

Turkmen weightlifter Shabnam Kerimbayeva delivered an outstanding performance at the 91st World Weightlifting Championships, currently taking place in Ningbo, the People’s Republic of China, setting two world records in the youth category.

During the competition, the athlete successfully lifted 89 kg in the snatch, breaking the youth world record in this event. She continued her impressive performance in the clean and jerk, successfully lifting 112 kg. With a combined total of 201 kg in the two lifts, the Turkmen weightlifter established another youth world record.
